The doorbell is not wireless. It must be installed on your regular doorbell wiring but it is very easy. Take the two wires off the old bell and ad them to the new one. then just connect it to WIFI. The app will tell you how to connect it to WIFI. Total time should be less the 5 minutes and you don't need anything more then a small Philips screw driver
