Do you need home WiFi / internet to use??? null

Hi Shari, no, this product does not require internet / WiFi in order to have an alarm sound off in your home if an entry is opened while the alarm is activated and the deactivation code isn't entered into the system to to say "I'm home" or "It was me". However, if you want your system to be able to update itself with software updates, which may help the system to stay or become more secure (which is recommended), this requires WiFi. If you plan to subscribe to monitoring (so that the police are notified when the alarm is triggered), I'm not sure if that requires WiFi or not, as I opted out of subscribing for now.
