- Answer Tape not really reliable, its not bright at all, if batteries are good it stays on, price for store pickup is 31.79 out the door.

- Answer It only detects motion, and it isn't very good at detecting ground animals, so things like dogs and cats do not set off the alarm.

- Answer You can use as many as you want. I have multiple and use it with the app...no problem. You just have to assign names to each one.

- Answer This Motion Sensor is designed for the SimpliSafe Home Security System. When triggered, it can set off an audible alarm. It is not compatible with other functions, like triggering lights or other appliances.

QuestionCan you label each sensor to receive movement detection notifications so you know exactly where it coming from? Also does it always sound the alarm or you can set it to just give push notifications?

- Answer Yes to both questions. During the setup process you will be asked to name the sensor. Also you can customize your notifications.

- Answer The phone just provides the app / interface, the sensor does need a hub like Samsung's Smatthings to be integrated, recognized, and function to activate other devices or just send notifications. Without the HUB you will be unable to use it.

- Answer Once the system is armed (away mode), it becomes activated and would sound the alarm if it senses movement. The base unit has the sound. This can be tested in the "test" mode of the system.
