“Can this camera be used outdoors”

• I think it's meant for indoors. SimpliSafe has outdoor cameras that you can easily install. The outdoor cameras have a motion detection.

• This is a Motion Sensor, a component for the complete SimpliSafe Home Security system. It looks out for intruders moving around in a scene, and can trigger an alarm. It is not a camera that can capture images or record.
