• It is an indoor camera but you can buy mounts tooints it outside in any position. I would keep it out of the weather though. I have oneounted under my awning and it does fine.

• I don’t think so, I’ve never seen an outdoor fitting. They have outdoor cameras now you can use exclusive of the Simplisafe with just wifi
