• They have a two wire hook up red and black . They need a minimum of 5 watts to perform 100 watts peak

• Most "boom Box" units have a (tip, ring, sleeve) output jack. These speakers have 2 wires on each speaker, Red-Black. You will need to find a mini stereo plug that has 3 rings on it and bare wires on the other side. Hook both speakers black wires to the sleeve wire (usually braded wire), and the second wire from each speaker to one each of the remaining wires.
