Q: QuestionI have a 2015 toyota corolla. If I bought a sub would you be able to install it with nothing done to the car before hand? Like if I didn't have any connections or anything would it be possible to install it or would I have to get the connections myself?

• A:Answer Go in the store ask what you would need to install it and after looking at that mess of wires and your overall lack of experience in doing such things consider asking how much they would chard to install all of it and compare that to total tech support coverage for a year and how much more benefit you’d get from that then the one time cost of installation (that would be free with total tech)

You will definitely want to see your local Best Buy installation bay and speak with their installer. You could actually set an appointment on geeksquad.com for a consultation with an auto tech to get a more accurate price and labor quote.

Q: QuestionHow much is it to install all my products I already have? 2 subs in box. Amplifier 2 of them. 1 for each sub. I would need fuse installed as well as wires ran from battery to trunk.

• A:Answer That install will start at 120. If you need any other parts then they will cost extra. If the subwoofers need mounted there is a small labor charge for that as well.

• A:Answer Consult your local Best Buy's installation bay. Some auto techs do not wish to do half of the job. Some are willing to. It depends on each individual tech. At minimum you are probably looking at $50. The amp install is $120 for subwoofer amplifier if that's what you are installing and it comes with a lifetime labor warranty.

• A:Answer 3" deck screws, just kidding. There are various options to get your subwoofer from becoming a projectile. Speak directly with an auto tech to come up with a solution that satisfies you.

• A:Answer Which sub?? Typically a subwoofer requires more power to play than a set of full range speakers so an amplifier is needed. It isn't necessary that you have an amplifier but you can purchase one at time of installation. The auto tech can help you with that process.
