I have a 2015 Subaru Forrester. How does the sirius/xm hook up to the Subaru factory radion installation? i read about a point where the Subaru radio has socket point for the XM unit. How do I find that point?

For the xm tuner port, it's going to need to be found in a dealer manual, or Mitchell on demand or Alldata (most municipal libraries have subscriptions) you can get a factory tuner or buyou an aftermarket interface for this particular tuner. Some of the aftermarket interfaces will let you add an HD Radio or ipod/iPhone controls via a cable.

To learn more about solutions to connect to your 2015 Subaru Forrester, please consult your local Subaru dealer. Unfortunately the SXV200 tuner only connect to "SiriusXM Ready" aftermarket head unit that would replace your factory installed radio.
