No. I actually tried it. Only good for xm radio.

No, it's for use with the SiriusXM radios. If you need a hardwired FM transmitter to integrate an MP3 player / Ipad / Ipod into your vehicle look into the Isimple IS32. That will accept audio from a 3.5mm audio jack.

The FM Direct Adapter is meant to override your FM channels when your SiriusXM radio is powered on. Since this is manufactured with the pin configuration to go in a SiriusXM vehicle cradle, I would check the configuration on you other media device before making the purchase.

This will only work with FM stereo radios.
