I do not believe it works that was, the auxiliary cord attached to this isn't for music

Please try again later.No. A cars radio antenna wire is unplugged from the radio and then plugged into the Adapter and the the Adapter has an antenna pigtail wire that plugs back into the car radio. The adapter is activated/powered by the SiriusXM - Radio that it is hooked to. If the SiriusXM radio is on, the power to the Adapter is on and it is functioning. If the SiriumXM Radio is turned off the Adapter is also off.

Thank god my husband is good with those things, he hooked it up, showed me how to hook up my phone, and that was it. I'm sure if you ask their techs, they will help you instantly!
