• you just need to buy the car kit and then just subcript to Siriusxm and you'll be ready to go. Kit comes with an antenna and the mounting tray.

• Receivers can be switched between home and auto use, but you would need two different docks to use the receiver in a car as well as at home. A "vehicle dock" can be purchased as part of an accessory kit. The unit I purchased was for home use only and, without my purchasing an accessory kit, would not be usable in a car.
