An existing subscription will work. You can call in or go online to switch radio ID's, it's $15 bucks. Yes, you'll need two subscriptions for two vehicles.

You need to call XM Radio to let them know you have bought a new tuner to get the tuner activated. You do need a subscription for each vehicle, however, XM Radio can combine all accounts to save you some money more than likely. Ask for the Family Discount.
