If your radio is one that is originally factory installed you don't need the tuner. It is built in already. You just buy what ever plan you need and you are good to go. If the radio is after market siriusxm ready then the tuner is all you need to buy along with the subscription. The tuner only lets you receive sirius, nothing to do with the subscription.
