Well, I recently went from factory to aftermarket ( JVC mod# JVC KW-R930BTS ) factory stereo had XM-SAT on it.. SAT FM ADAPTER should plug in directly behind stereo If you have gone aftermarket ( round looking plug 5 or 6pin ) if you had sat radio before and your sat ant. plug isn’t to old your existing sat ant. should plug right into it. Otherwise you’ll have to run new magnet ant. ( included ) . Then follow steps on stereo for XM SAT RADIO once it picks up and set up is complete that’s pretty much it. Oh yes if you have a subscription to XM call them up tell what you got they will either switch you subscription Over or if your starting a new one they can handle that to .; in either case they will walk you through every step and will stay on the phone with you until there is music coming through....
