Is daylight enough to keep the Spotlight Cam charged, or does it have to be direct sunlight? I live in Chicago and we can go days and weeks without sunlight in the winter so that's why I'm asking. Thanks. null

We live in California so I can’t tell yet since we haven’t been through a rainy, foggy winter with our solar charger. But it seemed to work on the few cloudy and rainy days we have had so far.

Direct sunlight
I live in The Peoples Republic of California, so we have direct sunlight most of the year. But I have not had any issues during the times when it's been overcast and raining for several days. I also keep 2 batteries in each of my cameras.
