“Is daylight enough to keep the Spotlight Cam charged, or does it have to be direct sunlight? I live in Chicago and we can go days and weeks without sunlight in the winter so that's why I'm asking. Thanks.”

Daylight has been keeping my spotlight camera charged just great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We live in California so I can’t tell yet since we haven’t been through a rainy, foggy winter with our solar charger. But it seemed to work on the few cloudy and rainy days we have had so far.

But I have not had any issues during the times when it's been overcast and raining for several days. I also keep 2 batteries in each of my cameras.
