The Ring solar panel mount has about a 170 degree range of motion from side to side or up and down. Mounting it on a North facing fascia can present some challenges. I had a similar problem and ended up attaching a small piece of composite board on the back (south side) of a chimney on the North side of my house and it works like a charm

With just a few hours of direct sunlight per day, it will keep your Spotlight Cam or Stick Up Cam Battery fully charged. The Ring Solar Panel has a 13ft cord with a multi-position mounting arm so it can be installed to receive the maximum amount of direct sunlight.
