Solar Panels for Ring Doorbells are specific to each Ring Doorbell, meaning theSolar Panel for Ring Spotlight Cam Battery and Stick Up Cam Battery  would not work for the Ring Doorbell 3. You would need to purchase the solar panel for the Ring Doorbell 3: https://ring.com/collections/accessories/products/solar-panel-for-doorbells-2-3-plus-4

I don’t know about the ring door bell and I use the solar panel for my spot light camera. Excellent for that camera .
