- Answer Best Buy or at least the Best Buy in my neighborhood carries the panel for the ring it’s a ring solar panel so the hook up and installation is easy, no problems with the product and we have had high winds and snow and it has not missed a beat, it continues to charge my flood cameras batteries

- Answer This will work as long as you have the newer version of the stick up cams, not the first version that looks like the doorbells.

Ring does offer a solar panel specifically for the Ring Video Doorbell (2nd Generation). It is a small device that can be mounted outdoors and connected to your Ring Video Doorbell with a cable. - Answer Hi Deeber. The cable for the Solar Panel is 13 feet, and it is not recommended to cut the wire. Cutting the wire may void the warranty on your Solar Panel, which you can read about here: https://ring.com/warranty. Best, Ashley from Ring.

- Answer I also was looking for an AC connection too but this was a great alternative to that and I didn't have to go and route wires all over to get the the AC outlets.

- Answer This is specifically made to work with RING products. The only way to know for sure is to buy it, connect it to your camera and return it if it doesn't keep it charge. These work flawlessly with RING.

- Answer Not installed. got royally screwed over by geek squad. He tried to charge me more money than my contract called for and he didn't have time to install anyway. This was 1 hr 15 min into my 4 hr window. I am a 71 yr old retiree who has vowed not to use your store again. and, I will try the install myself. Just what I want to do, go up a latter because of your unprofessional dealings with an old guy.

QuestionI live in a part of Ohio, which very little sunshine during winter months. Would Solar Panel be able to charge the battery during the winter months? Also, is there's a minimum operating temperature below which charging stops to protect the battery?

- Answer I have 6 cameras all with solar panels. I love in Central Illinois and I've never had issues with the batteries being charged. These solar panels do an excellent job.

QuestionHas anyone spliced the solar panel cord to shorten it? Mine will only run about 3 ft and I don't want a huge rolled up cord hanging behind the panel or camera? Just wondered if anyone had done this mod and if there were any issues. Thanks!
