You can use any Amp, but the Sonos Amp's equalization is designed specifically to match these speakers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. They're not wireless speakers. They're wired, powered speakers like any other brand. You could use a Sonos Port but would also need an integrated receiver or a separate amplifier to power the speakers. The Sonos Amp combines them all into one discrete box. Don't forget in-wall speaker wire and wall mount. I prefer the Flexson wall mount for Sonos Amp.
