“Thinking of switching to new mesh Wi-Fi, but Sonos issues with just changing routers a while back (separating 2.4/5ghz bands), I’m hesitant. Does Boost make it easier connecting to a mesh Wi-Fi, without needing to play with router setting+separate bands?”

No problem using the mesh WiFi, boost created it’s own network for the sun and other speakers.

Please see this page from our support site. https://support.sonos.com/s/article/1061?language=en_US --- We would steer away from using Boost with a mesh system as it could be too much "mesh" and cause interference. If you're switching to a new mesh system try without Boost and only add it later if needed.
