It is okay to connect more or all of the Sonos components via wired ethernet. Keep in mind that your WiFi has to be on the same VLAN for your wireless phones or tablets to control your Sonos. Your Sonos will probably benefit from being "wired" to your network.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We have the bass, sound AR, and two 3's, after we added 3 5's, 1 in the game room, one in the workshop, and 1 for the great room that we also move to the porch, when needed. Have had TV on in media room while playing music in the great room without any problems.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. What sort of issues are you having? Usually only one SONOS device must be hooked directly to your router for the system to work. The other SONOS devices Piggy Back the WiFi signal off of the SONOS device that is connected to your router. I'd look for the problem to be somewhere else. You can call SONOS's tech support direct. They have a great support team.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need to set up the boost as far away from other wifi devices on the same network. This is not easy, but use the full extent of your Ethernet cable and power source options. It will improve the relability and fidelity of the network loop sonos runs on. Multiple sonos boosts are only needed if you are running separate speakers from long distances in large houses or with thick walls like in a basement.
