That's odd. Your router should work. Does your router support 2.4 ghz? You might check to see if this is turned on (it should be). Your Sonos speakers should connect just like any other wifi device.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Have you tried to set up the speakers directly to your network without the Boost? You don't need the boost to connect your Sonos speakers up. they will connect directly to your home wireless network. I used these for a year in my home before I got the boost. Sonos has said that you can go to 30 speakers before you would ever need to consider using the boost. The Boost does help to use the system through any VPN's you might set up.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had a LOT of questions before I bought my first Sonos component, and found the Sonos Community (you can get to them from a link on the Sonos website) to be VERY helpful. Good Luck!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's best to use the ethernet connection from your router to the boost. You don't need a new router, the time Warner works just fine. If you are worried about range don't cause the range on the boost is excellent and it's a different frequency to WiFi.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Make sure you are connecting to the router by an Ethernet cable. Then download the Sonos app to your phone. Use it to connect to your Sonos products to the Boost.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Your router is only used for providing broadband if you are using Boost and have set it up to be independent of your home wifi. If you plug a Boost or a Bridge into your Time Warner modem, it will deliver into your Sonos system all the broadband you are getting, which is what Sonos still needs from your home system. Bridges are cheap; half the cost of boosts and about the same range I think. For $50 you don't need to get a new router however, the wifi capabilities of what you get from cable providers are pathetic and even a used cheap N: router (not the most current, which is ac) will give you a much more robust wifi signal for everything else you are doing at home.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the same equipment you have. Time warner. netgear and boost. Remember, this netgear is dual channel. 2.4 and 5 GHZ and sonos only communicates with the 2.4 router so make sure you have sonos communicating with your netgear 2.4 EXT. A simpler fix is to call Sonos, they will walk you through and fix it, they are the best. Mine works perfectly. Yours will too.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.your problem is that you don't have enough speed or range from your internet service (your words)....contact Time Warner and demand faster service.....or switch to FiOS. There isn't anything you can buy to increase or improve your service beyond getting better service from Time Warner...and good luck with that....
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Is your new wireless router connecting seperatley or connected to your Time Warner modem??? Try connecting it to your TW modem without the boost. If its a good router then you shouldnt need the Boost unless you live in a massive sized house.
