• Sure. Use it outside. I wouldn't put it in direct sun, my choice. Alexa will find you as long as you are connected to Wi-fi and have downloaded the app.

• Can use outdoors as long as you have power. Does not need to be close to Echo device since it has Alexa built in. Just needs to be within range of your WiFi

• The speaker has an Alexa built into it. It is one speaker with both Alexa and a SONOS Play 1. It only needs to have AC applied via the 78 inch power cord
