To answer your questions: 1) Yes. You will assign separate room/names to each port at set up; however, in the app you choose one room and the option to group other rooms/devices appears. You simply choose the other port , room, speaker you want to play the same music. 2). Yes. If you are playing music on one port someone else with the app linked to your system can play music on another port, speaker, etc..
