I’ve been using the Sonos Port as part of my DJ setup, and it’s been a game changer. The ability to stream audio directly into my stereo system while also connecting my DJ equipment through the line-in is incredibly seamless. I’ve hooked it up to both my mixer and turntables, and the sound quality stays clean, balanced, and powerful without any noticeable lag. What I really appreciate is how flexible it is — whether I’m practicing at home or setting up a small event, I can easily switch between streaming and live DJ input. The controls are simple to use, and having Ethernet support makes the connection super stable, which is key when working with audio. Overall, the Sonos Port adds a professional, high-quality touch to my DJ setup and makes integrating streaming with live equipment effortless. Definitely worth it if you’re serious about sound and flexibility.

I used the Port to add Sonos to my existing set up. It took less than five minutes to add this to my existing amp and speakers and be streaming Sonos music throughout the house. Plug the included RCA patch cord into the OUT connections on the Port and plug them into the Line IN connection on your amp, Plug the AC plug in and let it boot up. Add the app to you phone. Done. I also added Sonos speakers in other rooms of the house that did not have speakers. I already had Sonos at our other home and the app knows which home I'm at (based on the wifi network) and only shows the Sonos components for where I'm at. Volume through the amp is quite a bit lower than my old bluetooth receiver, but this can be fixed in the app settings. Pricey, but a simple and effective way to add Sonos to your existing system.

To hear high-quality, lossless audio stream into your home through your large, passive speakers is a curiously addictive experience. It's easy to set up, so we got started in mere minutes. We use it every day! 5/5 - a great addition to our home!

Excellent media player. I connect my turntable and CD player to the Port. Play connected equipment to my Sonos system. Arc, sub and two ERA 300 on Sanus speaker stands. The sound is awesome. How did I connect two devices to the Port? I used two "Y" cables. Two female RCA to one male RCA cable. I purchased one RED marked and one White marked. I purchased high end cables and not those cheap ones. I crossed the cables as I wanted stereo and not mono. That is important step. It's a pricey Sonos player but well worth it if you want clear sound production and want to play your legacy turnable, CD player, AV receiver Etc to the Sonos sound system. See photo of the Y cables needed to connect two devices to the Port.

It took forever to decide on a set up to play albums in my kitchen. I finally settled on connecting a sonos port to my old reciever (which is connected to my turntable). Now I can connect any Sonos speakers throughout the house to my turntable. I went with the Sonos 5 speakers and a Sonos subwoofer for the large open space covering my living room/dining room/kitchen. I am very happy with the result. I also bought a Sonos Era 100 speaker that I use in my bedroom. For the money, if you have a smaller space I think the Era 100 works just fine.

This device coupled with my Sonos Arc 5.1 allowed me to coonect my whole home audio to two additional rooms. The whole system controlled effortlessly by Sonos application. The expert advice provided by Geek Squad installers came up with this solution that provided a great solution in home theater, whle home audio and 5.1 in family room. Excellent install and demo of how to use. Cleaned up and took care to respect home furnishing

This is a favorite product for me and my company. Customers love the final product and the look is very sleek not bulky and works amazingly.

Thanks to my my Sonos Port, I have a new appreciation for vinyl records. I am now able to stream music from my turntable to my Sonos Soundbar and surround speakers in my living room.

Seamlessly allows for me to send my record player sound to any Sonos in my home!

Bought this to I’m use with an older Onkyo intergrated amplifier and love it! Gives me acces to so much content and use to set up and use. Will likely add more Sonis products in the future

Great little piece of equipment for hooking up a turntable or CD player to your existing Sonos system while keeping it wireless. Definitely a plug and play Sonos..

Convenient way to send sound from analog sources from a preamplifier to Sonus speakers as well as Sonus HD radio. The audio quality is good through a Beam or Sonus One speakers.

This port made it possible to connect to an older system. Combined this with Sonos speakers, and system rocks the house!

Excellent way to synchronize "old-school" systems with SONOS. If you currently have a music system you like, but also now have some SONOS Wi-Fi enabled speakers, add this Port to your "old-school" system and control everything on the SONOS app. Love it!

Using this as a music streamer on my non Sonos set up! I have a turntable and amplifier with wired speakers . Wow this port is awesome! Easy set up and the app allows streaming with such ease!

This little box allowed me to integrate my legacy audio stack into the Sonos system that serves the rest of the house. Sure is nice to be able to use the Sonos app (which I have hooked into Tidal and YT Music) to control the music too! A bit pricey, but it works great.

I recently had to replace a Sonos Connect that stopped working. The new Port is easy to set up and is sleeker looking. The interface connection with the software seems more stable too. I’m happy with it!

Thank sonos this finally came out. I hated having to pick between my JBL Partybox 1000 or Sonos to listen to music ... now with this it works . Took a little tweaking in settings but got it . At first it did play but at low volume even with everything cranked up . Went into sonos app and changed volume on the port to Passive and it scared the holy ghost out of me. I recommend turning down your system before messing with settings haha . Also for some reason the default audio sync was 1500ms for some reason. Changed that also to 75ms and it sounds amazing . Now im curious on how much more i can add to this . I currently have the Arc , with 1 Sub and 2 surrounds the Era300s . So thats all 1 setup then the port is its own setup so you can enable group volume and it will control both at the same time or if you only want 1 then you can unselect the other .

I initially had some apprehension about the Sonos Port Streaming Media Player. I wasn’t familiar with Sonos products, and I wasn’t sure how well it would integrate with my existing audio equipment. However, after using it for several weeks, I’m glad I took the plunge. Despite my initial hesitation, the setup was incredibly easy. The Sonos app guided me through the process step-by-step, and within minutes, the Port was connected to my home network and integrated into my existing audio system. The only downside for me is the cost. While I do believe you’re getting a premium product, the Sonos Port is on the expensive side for a streaming device. The only downside for me is the cost. This is a quality Sonos product and works perfectly with our Sonos system. It is fairly easy to set up but Sonos was also a big help. Seemed a little costly but was the best choice for our system
