it comes with a 1 year manufacture warranty. yo be honest its worth getting the protection plan from best buy, if anything happened to it in two years just bring it in and they get you a new if if it can't be fixed.

And come with Sony's full 1 year warranty which includes a replacement of that headband free of. Badge for efffected serial numbers.
