Do you need some sort of lens support with this lens? null

I’m in Tanzania using it for the first time, it’s an awesome lens!! It is heavy so I’ve been carrying it around using the tripod mount handle. You want to make sure you have got some support for it, ie tripod, beanbag in the safari application.

No, if you are connecting to a Sony camera. But keep in mind with such a great zoom, a tripod would always help with stability.
