Yes, this TV has excellent contrast an sharpness. As for your sound bar, the Geek Squad informed me that I could not plug my Bose Wave directly into the TV without a "converter." I opted to plug my sound system into the cable box. I hope that helps; I'm not smart enough to deal with a converter,

yes there is one, but you may want to use an Optical Cable instead if you have one.

Formation point great picture! And it does have RCA sound output that's the red and white
