• Yes, this TV has excellent contrast an sharpness. As for your sound bar, the Geek Squad informed me that I could not plug my Bose Wave directly into the TV without a "converter." I opted to plug my sound system into the cable box. I hope that helps; I'm not smart enough to deal with a converter,
