A:Answer Most people are stating that spectrum offers cable up to 1080p. Spectrum’s max output they offer at this point in time is 1080i in most areas; if not all. I mean we are all trying to move forward and get rid of the boxes, which is a dream, but their app is spotty at best on devices other than a computer. So to answer the question if you are watching tv through a cable box, just look at the tv in store and pick one that you like the colors along with the brightness. It will take some time, and probably our money, before cable boxes will have true 4K capabilities.
