The first one in HDMI 3or4 and the 2nd goes in the 2nd HDMI slot.

The 43X85K has 4 HDMI inputs that allow you to connect multiple devices. HDMI 3 is the ARC port which stands for audio return channel that allows you to send audio to device that also support ARC. You would need to verify that your other device supports HDMI/ARC which is an HDMI feature. Those systems that only have 3 cords and no HDMI more than likey do not support HDMI/ARC.
