Hi Rick, Thank you for the inquiry! Step 1. go to settings. 2.select System 3.select Power and Energy 4.select Power on Behavior 5.select last input used. This will default the TV to the last used input when powered on. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You'll need to enable this on both the Direct TV STB and the TV having run through the manage inputs menu in settings. Or you could program your Direct TV remote if it is supposed to function as a Universal remote with a SONY Bravia code.
