“Hi, Does the 49" Sony 950H it fit on a 40" tv stand? In some videos, it shows the legs mounted pointing to the instead instead of outside which makes a 40" stand fine. Is that true? If yes, how far apart are the legs and how far is a leg from the edge?”

Hi lserhal, Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, it will fit on a 40" TV stand. The width of the TV legs of the 49X950H is approximately 39 3/8" (998 mm). Hope this helps! -Sam
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.My SONY 950 H 49" sits on a 46" stand. The legs are 38" apart pointing out. On a 40" stand it would be possible but a tight fit as you can see. I don't know if it is possible to point the legs inward but I think the TV would be less stable.
