The KD55X80K has a fixed stand position with a stand width of 41.77 inch (1,061 mm)(STANDARD POSITION). If you are looking for a 55" TV that may fit on your current TV stand, we recommend our KD55X77L with a stand width of 40.5" / 1,028 mm(STANDARD POSITION) You may also want to consider our XR55A80K and XR55A80L that has multiple or 3-way stand position with options for a wide mount, narrow mount(inside position), or tall mount. The tall mount provides room for a soundbar.
