If you are referring to the Hulu app alone, yes. You can download and install Hulu app on this TV and use it without your cable. The app will run on the Google TV interface and will not interact with your cable.

This is a google tv so you can download the app and use it as a stand alone service. You'll just have to pay through hulu.
