• This receiver does not have the wireless CarPlay but that will not prevent your from using your voice to text. All you have to do is say "Hey Siri" or when a text comes in it will ask you "do you want to reply"

• Hi, Roy! Unfortunately, this unit doesn't have wireless Carplay function. You can connect your Apple device to the unit via USB connection to enjoy the Carplay function. Hope this helps! -Sam
