Yes, this unit is compatible with the Bluetooth capable iPhone X.

I have a iphone 7 and I’m running the latest IOS version. It works very good with the head unit but remember for the best possible user experience you need to use the CarPlay functionality built into your phone by plunging your phone directly into the front USB input on the head unit using a certified lighting cable. If you choose not to plug your phone into the head unit it will still connect over Bluetooth but have limited functionality ( No CarPlay ).

It should because it supports Apple CarPlay, and also you should be able to hook it up using bluetooth as well.
