“I was told I will need a 'basket' in order to complete installation. I have the wire harness. What is this basket and is it necessary?”

• When I installed the head unit I used the factory brackets. I don’t know what basket they are talking about. I did buy the aftermarket install kit and just used a plastic finishing ring that goes around the screen. Hope this helps.
