I'm guessing you mean to run on the stock head unit internal amp. 50 RMS up to 300 RMS. The lower wattage speaker will sound louder in most instances but may blow if you like to push them to the limit. Keep in mind any speaker can blow when distortion and clipping is introduced. Safe bet is to only turn your head unit up 3/4 of the max volume at most. I would find a 100 to 150 watt RMS speaker as a happy medium.
