Also, 3D is not currently possible in 4K. If you purchase a 4K 3D tv it only works on 1080p content. My older 4K 850 model 55" Sony has active 3D. Although it can be somewhat more immersive on particular films filmed in 3D, for the most part 3D is kind of gimmick on the majority of film and happens to loose some clarity and detail in 3D over 2D. I purchased this 850D 65" and live the picture quality, and for a non-OLED tv, the HDR quality and contrast is great for they money spent.

Sorry but this TV is not 3d but, I recommend the Sony xbr-x930d 4k HDR 3D TV. I'm a big fan of 3D and highly recommend this TV.
