“What are the dimensions of the stands? (apparently 13 inches long, but how wide?) Are the stands flat on the bottom, or are there 2 contact points to the TV's supporting structure? If 2, what are the dimensions of each?”

The answer I was looking for (now that my 65" Bravia has been delivered): each of the two stands measure 3/8" wide x 13" long. Each stand has two elastomer pads (each, approximately 6" long) attached to the bottom of the stands (so you don't need self-adhesive felt to protect the surface the TV sits on).
