This was a great value TV, imho. I like Samsung electronics, too. But lack of Dolby Vision and Dolby DTS support excluded Samsung television from my list. The LG C2 looked very, very nice too. But it was a bit pricier, but had an an arguably brighter screen. The A80K does have slightly less brightness, but it displays very well in our fairly bright family room. The Sony does everything pretty well. Absolutely no blooming, layering, stuttering, and displays colors accurately and vividly. Blacks are inky black. Settings are easy to change and very user friendly. TV sound is good but I use a Vizio soundbar without any compatibility issues and it sounds great. It’s a very well constructed TV and very little wobble noted with its well engineered stand with adjustable width. Another outstanding feature of the A80K is its anti-reflective screen technology. Our TV, when not on, clearly reflects windows which are opposite the TV placement. This was deeply concerning to me until I turned the TV on. Reflections disappeared and when the screen displays a lighter background, you can very faintly see a momentary reflection but it is not distracting. At all. The TV seems very good for upscaling lower content movies and TV. It’s excellent for sports. The A80K really shines when playing 4k movies. I couldn’t be more impressed!! Wide viewing angles is nice for our seating arrangement, which is fairly wide. Overall, we are completely satisfied with our choice of the A80K over the other brands. Especially for the price.

The last few TVs I owned were by Samsung, the last of which was a 4K LED from 2016 (KU-6290 to be exact). This is my first time owning a Sony or an OLED, and the bottom line is that this is a huge upgrade in every conceivable way. Colors are vivid and full of life while remaining amazingly accurate, only a few minor adjustments were needed out of the box. Digitally shot films and shows appear very clean crisp, while film grain from other sources is rendered in a way that looks very natural and refined. OLED certainly looks its best when viewed in a dark room, but brightness holds up surprisingly well in bright room with various light sources as well. Motion is rendered impeccably well, especially compared too my preceding Samsung TVs. The built in speakers provide serviceable sound, and the sound calibration feature that utilizes the remote’s mic is a nice touch. Apps load quickly once TV is booted up, Google TV interface is snappy and easy to navigate. The ability to customize input layout lends great sense of convenience and control. Overall, this is easily The best TV I’ve owned so far. Purchased as an open box item, it was practically brand new with only a few hours of use and yet nearly 50% off the current regular price. Even if I paid full price I’d feel as though it’s a worthwhile investment. If you’re in the market for an OLED, this is a high quality model for the asking price and I couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Sony has trully outdone themselves with this television. The picture quality, ease of use, and setup is like nothing I've ever seen. All of this, complemented with the Sony signature sound quality, it is a best in class product.

Awesome oled Supports vrr allm with hdmi 3 and 4 (must go in tv settings and change mode) Sound is impressive with TV by itself! Bright, but easy on my eyes, they are sensitive to super bright TVs while gaming. This tv does not disappoint! Differences from Sony a80j a minimal New model is thicker, but picture is better, also sound is better. If you get out have the a80j, be happy this tv isn’ta huge upgrade. The a80j has a more premium feel. This tv ultimately costs more for a minimal upgrade. If your in the market and are considering this tv vs lg or Samsung I’ll just say, the Sony is more refined.

I love, love, love my Sony Bravia TV! When I went to Best Buy to replace my 40” flat screen I told myself I was going to look at the 55” TVs. The sales guy who came over to help me was showing me the 55s. Then he took me into a showroom with the BIG screens, I thought I was at the movies! He showed me differences between the screens and their pixels/clarity(?). I fell in love with the 65” Sony and made that my purchase. The delivery and set-up was perfect for me. The Geek Squad mounted it on my wall and centered it perfectly over my 75” electric fireplace. They also downloaded the streaming services that I have. There was a slight learning curve for me because I’m not that tech savvy but it is worth it. I am very happy that I purchased the 65” Sony. I had a smaller Sony in the past. The picture lasted for years, the entire time I had the TV! To me, Sony is very reliable!

I absolutely love this TV I have zero complaints and sony nailed it People who talk bad about the tv need to take some time and start learn how to configure it correctly. There is plenty of YouTube tutorials that show u how to get best of this tv I use inbuilt apps also my ps5 . That’s all . Tv have zero issues work great Only thing is I wish remote have back lit but I do my t care.

The picture is top notch. Color is amazing and I love how simple it is to adjust the settings for picture mode, brightness, etc. The setup for Google was pretty easy as well.

My first OLED TV and absolutely love it!! Picture quality is spot on. The depth range of all colors makes the picture look better than real life. Audio quality is great. No need for a sound bar or home theater system.

Holy smokes this TV highlights any bright neon colors to the max. I thought I would end up getting the A95k because of the brightness of it vs this A80K. I was blown away coming from a LED 65 x900f. Details are crispy and darks look amazing on 4k content. Gaming is awesome with VRR. The stands are gorgeous and very easy to install. Please read the instructions carefully when unboxing as you should not touch or hold the panel. The remote could use a backlight which I might upgrade in the near future but I might just need to learn the remote better. Google TV still works amazing. I gave the sound 3 stars because it's not that great which isn't an issue for me as I use an external receiver for surround sound. Get this TV if want an OLED and superior Image processing.

I love this TV! The picture quality is great and it's easy to use. This is my first Sony TV and I like the accessibility and picture quality better than other TVs. I've had this TV for almost a year and no issues.

Excellent Sony OLED 65"TV. Great vivid colors with good sound.

This has to be the best OLED TV SONY has definitely produced a major contender. For the price range it has the most amazing picture. The built in google and apps are also key for everyone to have a great experience. The black levels and color arrays are beautiful as Sony goes with a more natural look.

My Sony XBR-65X930D went out with green vertical lines after 7-years. Unable to repair it with new T-Con Board, I upgraded to this new Sony 65” XR A80K OLED. I am blown away with the excellent picture, vibrant colors and true black, throughout the screen. The only issue I experienced, after a week, was a HDMI-4 Port malfunction overnight. I contacted Sony Support anyway, they updated the firmware to the latest version; everything has been working without a glitch since. Note, since there is no RCA-In Jacks, I purchased a Canon RCA/Video Adapter from Crutchfield, to run a legacy Nintendo device; connected it to Video-1 port and works perfectly. Also, I route Audio thru my SONOS Speakers. I am very please with my purchase of this TV and highly recommend it.

One of the best TV's qualitywise in it's class. Beautiful picture and sharp colors. Black is very distinct. Easy to maneuver from different inputs. An overall top notch TV. The size is perfect for a big room for group viewing or for a nice theatre type experience in any screening room.

Next picture quality. Don't skimp on the LED technologies. Go for good quality OLED. Google TV w YouTube TV works perfectly. One interface for all your micro services.

My previous Sony TV was nice for the time but they had a problem with the screens where Sony replaced the set as a trade out but it was with a referbished set. I had a feeling that at some point that TV go out in some way. Well that day came on a power outage that took out the power pack. I have another with a glass border that has out lasted that one and it is still going. It was a very good brand back in the day and hopefully it still is. This new TV is very nice for the price and the imaging is very crisp and impressed with the sound no matter where you sit the sound seems even. It is larger than what we had before and it definitely shows with full screen image that can be viewed from anywhere. So far it has been a very good buy.

Needed to replace our ten year old 65” tv (which now resides in our sons garage) with a Smart TV. We researched many different TV’s, talked and asked for advise from a very patient Best Buy sales member and chose this one. Picture quality is amazing, sound is great and looks nice without having the big border around it as our old one had.

Didnt know whether to spend up and get QD OLED, but this was so incredible i didnt even care. WOLED is perfect unless you live in a greenhouse and have unbearable light. A80k has perfect sound, and good out of the box picture. I messed around with the settings to tune it to how i like. Better than A90J, and the C2 makes everything look so manufactured. Sony processing and trilumonus pro makes it like ur looking throught a window. GAMING IS SO GOOD ON THIS YOU DO NOT NEED TO WORRY.

We couldn’t be happier with our Sony 65”. The picture is perfect. The sound is great. Colors are sharp. No pauses in action moves. It’s true what they say, ‘Sony, the one and only.
