Sony - 65" Class BRAVIA XR A80K OLED 4K UHD Smart Google TV

Didnt know whether to spend up and get QD OLED, but this was so incredible i didnt even care. WOLED is perfect unless you live in a greenhouse and have unbearable light. A80k has perfect sound, and good out of the box picture. I messed around with the settings to tune it to how i like. Better than A90J, and the C2 makes everything look so manufactured. Sony processing and trilumonus pro makes it like ur looking throught a window. GAMING IS SO GOOD ON THIS YOU DO NOT NEED TO WORRY.

Wonderful picture quality! I can’t go back to anything lower than 4K now without it looking fake. True color with the oled screen, everything is so vibrant. Had the geek squad come out and install and hook up all the remotes together as we have 3 and now only 1. From the little bit of the tv sound I did use it sounded very crisp. The geeks also tweaked some picture settings to really separate the colors.

I love this TV! The picture quality is great and it's easy to use. This is my first Sony TV and I like the accessibility and picture quality better than other TVs. I've had this TV for almost a year and no issues.

Best perks of the TV are the color and the gaming features the come with it. I’ve never owned a 120hz TV but man does it make a difference. Smoothest gameplay I’ve ever experienced (playing with a PS5.) Besides the gaming, Dolby Vision and HDR10 looks great on here. The only thing I would critique is the brightness and the standard “vivid” display mode that the tv is set to at default. “Vivid” doesn’t give the TV a chance to boast its awesome graphics, but that can be fixed with customizing the tv settings the way you want. Again, GREAT TV.

Stunning picture, incredible features, and you will never need a soundbar. Im not even sure how they can priloduce that kind of sound from a TV that thin, but wow. Games, movies, and music will blow you away. OLED over LCD all day. Get the Totaltech program through Best Buy and you get incredible coverage and installation services which makes spending a little bit more worry free.

The last few TVs I owned were by Samsung, the last of which was a 4K LED from 2016 (KU-6290 to be exact). This is my first time owning a Sony or an OLED, and the bottom line is that this is a huge upgrade in every conceivable way. Colors are vivid and full of life while remaining amazingly accurate, only a few minor adjustments were needed out of the box. Digitally shot films and shows appear very clean crisp, while film grain from other sources is rendered in a way that looks very natural and refined. OLED certainly looks its best when viewed in a dark room, but brightness holds up surprisingly well in bright room with various light sources as well. Motion is rendered impeccably well, especially compared too my preceding Samsung TVs. The built in speakers provide serviceable sound, and the sound calibration feature that utilizes the remote’s mic is a nice touch. Apps load quickly once TV is booted up, Google TV interface is snappy and easy to navigate. The ability to customize input layout lends great sense of convenience and control. Overall, this is easily The best TV I’ve owned so far. Purchased as an open box item, it was practically brand new with only a few hours of use and yet nearly 50% off the current regular price. Even if I paid full price I’d feel as though it’s a worthwhile investment. If you’re in the market for an OLED, this is a high quality model for the asking price and I couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Great TV, love the dark colors, while still being a bright and vibrant tv. Sony is definitely a great brand. No regrets so far

Holy smokes this TV highlights any bright neon colors to the max. I thought I would end up getting the A95k because of the brightness of it vs this A80K. I was blown away coming from a LED 65 x900f. Details are crispy and darks look amazing on 4k content. Gaming is awesome with VRR. The stands are gorgeous and very easy to install. Please read the instructions carefully when unboxing as you should not touch or hold the panel. The remote could use a backlight which I might upgrade in the near future but I might just need to learn the remote better. Google TV still works amazing. I gave the sound 3 stars because it's not that great which isn't an issue for me as I use an external receiver for surround sound. Get this TV if want an OLED and superior Image processing.
