It needs to be stood up while in transit. If they see you lay it down in your car, they’ll note it and won’t honor the return policy if something happens.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I laid mine flat in my truck. No problem. Just follow the directions when removing it from the box. There are handle inserts on the sides that make it easy. The box pulls straight up from the bottom so make sure the tv is standing upright before removal.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It says to keep it upright. the foam protection inside the box is along all the edges, the front of the tv box has a void with an extra piece of cardboard but the tv is supported a lot better if kept upright
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The 38"x 62" x 8" box has no "This side up" type markings, and the TV is very securely packaged inside the carton with multiple levels of protection (centering it inside the carton) so I would suspect that it is not critical what orientation it is in. I did not see how it was stored in the BB delivery truck, but the two gentlemen bringing it in carried it vertically (it is easier to move that way). (While one person can lift it, the box size makes it prudent to use two people.) I would not stack stuff on top of the box if it was laid flat, just on principle.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Can be paid down to transport.
