“Purchased the Sony XBR65X850E 65" What is the soundbar recommended? Does it get in the way of the TV's remote control sensor if placed in front of the TV? Are internal TV speakers turned off? Will sound bar produce error message when changing vol?”

Sound bar shouldn't get in the way. Stand is high enough, mounted on wall just make sure it's higher than whatever speakers are sitting on. TV menu has option for "TV" or "external speaker". only one at a time so whichever you pick will be only sound output.

You may have difficulties operating the TV with the remote as there will be not much clearance when the soundbar sits in front of it. However, mounting the soundbar on a wall is always an advantage. The internal TV speakers can be turned off or on and you will not experience any error messages when changing the volume. Thanks, -Mark
