I recently purchased this tv and noticed a buzzing sound when I first turned it on. A Geek Squad member came to my home and advised he thought it was possibly defective. It was replaced but the replacement tv also has a buzzing sound. Is this normal? null

We have only had our Sony TV for about three weeks, so far we have not had any issues. We are using Directv for viewing. Is your TV satellite or on cable.

Definitely not normal. Sounds like interference. Check for ANYthing that could be causing from a docking port to a bad cable.
