Is this lens capable with the Sony 6500? null

This lens works incredibly well with the Sony A6500. I use it to shoot hockey pictures in a dimly lit rink. While it's not as great in low light as an f/2.8 constant aperture lens would be, the f/4 is plenty capable for what I use it for at a fraction of the cost. I just compensate by slowing down the shutter speed and kick the ISO up a little. The A6500 handles noise very well and my pictures look much better than the kit lens for this model.

Yes it will fit on the A6500. In fact it fits on my NEX7 camera too. That's the good thing about Sony. Their full frame lenses fits onto their APSC sensor cameras. I suggest getting the full frame lenses. When you are ready to upgrade to their full frame cameras you don't need to buy new lenses for them because you already invested in lenses that already work on them.

Yes. But lens is a little heavy for housing. I have used it on my a6300. Great shots one of my favorite lens.

Yes it is as the Sony A6500 has an E Mount. Since the A6500 is a APS-C crop sensor camera this lens will give you an effective focal range of 105-300mm.
