The wide mode full issue has been fixed as of the December 15th update.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I haven't had any problems like this at all. I'm pretty sure Sony has fixed that issue with a firmware update.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have not had this problem. I can tell you that the paper manual for the television is the worst I have ever seen for any piece of electronics. The electronic "manual" is, in my opinion, horrid and is far less than helpful. As it is available online, you can make up your own mind on that. It wouldn't surprise me a bit to learn that the problem you describe reflects a perfectly working television which is being misused by people because they manuals are so bad that they cant figure out which way is up. There is NOTHING simple about the installation, set-up and use of this TV. It is an extremely flexible and versatile display platform that ought to come with a 200 page manual and instead comes with something written on news print which doesn't cover even >>>BASIC<<< operation. The TV is magnificent. The manual is horrid. If you are willing to put up with a few weeks of frustration and endure several calls to sony tech support I would highly recommend it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've owned the set for a little over a month and there have been 2 updates in that time, once was released back in the summer and another one more recently. This means 2 things... there were problems originally but SONY has been working hard on fixing them. I havent had any issues so far and we are using this TV all day long watching TV and playing ps4 and Xbox one games, TV is always being used by someone in the family and again, no problems whatsoever.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Android OS continues to be a nightmare! Sony has not fixed the wide screen full issue!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We are working on a software update to fix this issue for the North American market. As much as we'd like to make it available now, we are taking steps to ensure that the solution we provide has been confirmed. Thanks, >Joffrey
