I've found the picture quality with Comcast is a little better than the previous TV I had in our media room. However, it's not as great as I saw in the sales room. This is not the fault of the TV but rather Comcast is not providing an Ultra 4K signal. I have tested it on Netflix, which does offer 4K streaming and Youtube. The picture clarity and detail was incredible.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The quality of the picture is directly tied to the quality of what you're driving the set with. It isn't a matter of Comcast versus BluRay versus over-the-air, it's about the specific quality of what you're watching. If you have HD service (Comcast doesn't seem to currently offer 4K for Sony TV's) and are watching a quality broadcast in 1080i, you will have a fantastic picture to watch.
