I returned a LG B6 for this tv and Im much happier. Loved the B6 but I was very sensitive to the motion issues on the b6. The extra 10 inches more than makes up for the SLIGHT picture advantage the LG has on the Sony.

I'm leaning towards the Sony because I've heard of image retention on the LG and watching ESPN/NFL channels I would think may become an issue with the ticker. I've read the LG handles the motion better, but the burn in on the LG has me hesitant. I'm leaning the Sony just because black levels are near the OLED but 10" larger screen, and don't have to worry about burn in...

Please try again later.I was going back and forth on the same two tvs. Read a lot of reviews on the LG stating issues with motion blur but even more stating that the upscaling was mediocre, at best. I've had the 940 for a couple weeks now and the upscaling is fantastic! No issues with motion blur, blacks are near the OLED level, another 10" of screen, and of course, you're getting Sony Bravia quality. You wont go wrong with this model.
